About Gevondi

A journey back to scent, ritual and presence.

A Return To The Forgotten Sense

In a world filled with screens, notifications and endless visual stimulation, one sense has quietly faded into the background.

The sense of smell.

For thousands of years, our ancestors lived closely with the scents of nature. The aroma of burning wood, forest air, earth after rain and natural resins were part of everyday life.

Today, our attention is constantly directed toward what we see.

At Gevondi, we believe it is time to rediscover what we smell.

Why Scent Matters

A single scent can transport us back to a childhood memory, calm a restless mind or transform the atmosphere of a room.

Unlike images and words, scent speaks directly to emotion.

It invites us to slow down.

To observe.

To be present.

To create rituals that bring meaning to everyday life.

That belief is at the heart of everything we do.

Crafted By Nature, Inspired By Tradition

The incense we curate is handcrafted in Turkey by artisans who combine traditional techniques with natural ingredients.

The journey began with a simple experience:

A love for camping.

Long evenings beside a fire.

The calming aroma of burning wood under open skies.

Inspired by these moments, the founder travelled to Japan to learn from traditional incense makers and observe centuries-old craftsmanship firsthand.

Returning to Anatolia, he began working with locally sourced woods, herbs and natural resins to create incense that honours both tradition and nature.

Every stick reflects this journey.

More Than Incense

Gevondi is not about fragrance alone.

It is about creating space.

A quiet morning coffee.

A book on a rainy afternoon.

A moment of stillness before sleep.

A conversation with yourself.

We see incense not as a product, but as a small ritual that reconnects us with nature, memory and presence.

Our Invitation

Light an incense stick.

Put your phone away.

Take a breath.

Allow the scent to fill the room.

And rediscover a sense that has been waiting patiently to be noticed again.

Welcome to Gevondi.
